Why Buddy?
Throughout history, the most common way to participate in the classroom is to raise the hand and receive the opportunity to speak up. This practice is not suited for the majority of students who are shy, introverts, lack confidence and more. Studies have shown that only 20% of the students are participating during class, hindering the majority's academic, social and personal growth.
Buddy is designed to encourage participation in new and exciting ways which encludes everyone!
HOW DOES IT WORK?

TEACHER ASKS A QUESTION
Once the teacher asks a question, she can choose between a regular or fast session on the controller (Tablet), depending on the flow during class.

STUDENTS PRESS THE BUTTON
Following the teacher's question, students now press the button on top of Buddy for a few seconds, according to how much they wish to participate.

SMART ALGORITHM
Once the students submit their inputs, a smart algorithm calculates the data using a database which then ranks the students based on several parameters, favoring those who participate the least.
